Herzlichen Gl\u00fcckwunsch an Margitta Minah, die Ende Januar 2022 ihre Doktorarbeit mit dem Titel \"The role of farmer organisations in rural development: \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung ihrer Mitgliedschaft, ihrer Auswirkungen und ihrer externen Unterst\u00fctzung\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bauernorganisationen, wie Genossenschaften, Verb\u00e4nde oder Erzeugergemeinschaften, sind Selbsthilfegruppen, die in vielen l\u00e4ndlichen Gebieten im Globalen S\u00fcden zu finden sind und theoretisch Dienstleistungen zur Steigerung der Produktivit\u00e4t, der Einkommen und der Armutsbek\u00e4mpfung von Kleinbauern anbieten. Viele Bauernorganisationen sind jedoch von staatlicher oder finanzieller Unterst\u00fctzung abh\u00e4ngig und scheitern h\u00e4ufig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es bleibt unklar, inwieweit und unter welchen Bedingungen Bauernorganisationen die Lebensbedingungen von Kleinbauern in L\u00e4ndern des Globalen S\u00fcdens tats\u00e4chlich verbessern, insbesondere angesichts der ungleichen Beteiligung der Haushalte. In ihrer Dissertation kombiniert Margitta Minah die Theorie des genossenschaftlichen und kollektiven Handelns und wendet gemischte Methoden an, um besser zu verstehen, wie Bauernorganisationen den (insbesondere benachteiligten) Kleinbauern greifbare Vorteile bringen und wie Entwicklungsakteure sie dabei unterst\u00fctzen k\u00f6nnen. Sie enth\u00e4lt vier von Fachleuten begutachtete Artikel, die Erkenntnisse \u00fcber die Aktivit\u00e4ten der Bauernorganisationen, ihre Mitgliedschaft, ihre Auswirkungen und die m\u00f6glichen Folgen staatlicher Unterst\u00fctzung pr\u00e4sentieren.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
