Our Institute Director, Prof. Dr. Marcel Robischon, has been honored as an outstanding “Communicator” in the Tagesspiegel series “The 100 Most Important Minds in Berlin Science 2024.” The article points out how the agroecologist and author of The Silence of the World shares his knowledge of plants and biodiversity far beyond the university. In engaging explanations—whether about biochemical processes or tree communication—he captivates audiences at events and in the forest. Most recently, he and his students cloned mulberry trees for Berlin.
