Within the framework of the project, managers and senior executives of still relatively young Romanian cooperatives are to be empowered through three training courses in the partner countries to improve the marketing and brand-building of their companies’ products, thereby increasing their market share. In addition, the project aims to advance digitalization and facilitate entry into new global markets.
The first training course took place in February 2025 at the Danish partner institution, which presented the study programs and training concepts of Dalum Academy to the group.
The second training course followed in November in Soest, the Netherlands. The partner Holland Door provided detailed knowledge on the life cycle of cooperatives and their development into regional and national top-performing enterprises that are also competitive internationally.
The third training course will take place in February 2026 in Berlin and will be organized by the BICS. In addition to assessing European agricultural markets, the program will focus on presenting the specific characteristics of agricultural cooperatives in the eastern part of the country, which have developed from former socialist production cooperatives into successful enterprises operating under market conditions.
