In October, a new six-month (October 2022 – March 2023) project entitled Engagement-promoting Infrastructures for Citizen Cooperatives started at the BICS. The German Foundation for Engagement and Volunteering funded the project in cooperation with innova eG and IDZ e.V. in Jena. The project aims to gain new insights into relevant support services for citizen cooperatives, existing needs, and potentials for further support measures in engagement-promoting infrastructures. In addition, the study will examine the influence of the current support existing support services on the establishment and development of BürgerG. The results of the project will be published in the form of a practice guide for engagement-promoting infrastructure institutions.
